Plans of the Wembley Downs garden

Wembley Downs Garden

Design Brief

This garden was designed before the original 1960's house was demolished. The client is an internationally recognised jewellery designer who wanted a garden that would not only reflect her own sense of aesthetic but she also wanted to use it to exhibit some of her own collected artworks and sculptures. The garden was to be low maintenance and have a big wow factor when entering the house. It needed to also visually connect the walkway entry to the house and the adjacent courtyard landscape.

The client was very particular about her design requirements and is delighted with the result. The design is original and meets all the criteria in the client brief. It has simple clean lines and uses unusual angles to create interest and to give the illusion of greater space. Although the lines are minimal the design is dynamic and sophisticated and is a perfect foil for the interesting architecture of the home itself.
